LION BRIDGE - Recruitment Process

Once you have submitted your application through our online Application Form, a member of our
Recruitment Team will review your details to determine your suitability for this role.

 If deemed suitable you will receive a mail containing ;
a Contractor Agreement,
Search Waiver and
Q&A.

The email will outline the Terms & Conditions of the Program and your acceptance of the Contractor Agreement and Terms & Conditions are required before your application can progress.
You will be asked to accept these conditions through an Online Questionnaire which will be included in the email.

Once you have accepted the terms of the Contractor Agreement and the Terms & Conditions of the program you will be scheduled for the final part of the Recruitment Process which is the Online Exam.

The exam is compiled weekly and study material will be emailed to you once the exam is created.
You then have 7 days to study this documentation and complete the exam.

The exam consists of three sections:
Section 1 – an “open book” type exam with 32 multiple choice questions,
Section 2 – 7 practical questions on the quality of web pages
and Section 3 – 7 practical send to device questions to be completed using both your desktop PC &
Smartphone Device.
More detailed information will be provided in the study material.

You will then be notified automatically at end of the 7 days if you have passed or failed the exam.

Please use your time wisely -
you will not be penalised for completing the exam before the expiry date, but we would point out that speed
is not key - accuracy is.

A high speed internet connection is also required for this role.
If you are unsuccessful in the exam, you may not be eligible to re-enter the exam at a later stage.

As an Internet Assessor your ultimate goal will be to contribute towards making internet search more
exciting, relevant and interesting for all end users in your country of residence.

You will play a part in improving the quality of one of the largest search engines in the world using both your
PC and Smartphone.

The internet has now become the powerhouse of all information, everything you need to find or explore can
be found on the internet, yet how can we be sure this information is entirely up to date or relevant? This is
where you can contribute.

We are looking for creative thinkers who enjoy browsing the internet and would like to express their opinion
on the quality and content of what is currently out there on the web.
You will be provided with guidelines and scoring criteria on how best to evaluate an internet search result.
You will have the flexibility and freedom to work from your own home,
working your own hours, depending on availability of tasks (10-20 hours per week).
Payment will be based on completion of the agreed upon tasks or engagements within the specified time
period.

This is a freelance, independent contractor position.


Requirements:
Fluency in written and verbal English & Native Language
Preferred level of education/certification - Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
Access to and use of a Smartphone (Android version 4.1 or higher or an iPhone version 4S or higher) to
complete tasks.
Access to and use of a broadband internet connection and associated computer and software to perform the
work, all provided at your own expense
From time to time, you may also be required to complete certain tasks using a Tablet (Android or iPad)
Experience in use of web browsers to navigate and interact with a variety of content
Time Management Skills
For cultural and historical awareness purposes you must be resident in desired country for the last 5
consecutive years

Sharing of material or answers in the exam is strictly prohibited.
Our Rating Quality team will monitor the following:
- Sharing of material or answers (e.g. with other members of the Rater group)
- Completing the work on another’s behalf

You must use your own Personal Computer and Smartphone device to work on this project
If you have worked on this Project in the past and your account has been ceased/termed you must notify us
when re-applying

Unfortunately we are not in a position to accept applicants who are currently working with Leapforce.
To do so would result in a conflict of interest for Lionbridge.
We request that all applicants notify us if they have ever applied to Leapforce or worked with Leapforce in
the past.
Failure to do so could result in termination of your Independent Contractor Agreement with Lionbridge

This is a freelance role and as an independent contractor it is essential that you are registered as a
self-employed person and payment of tax is your individual responsibility.
Lionbridge may request proof that you have paid tax – we will finalize these details at a later stage

Please be aware as this is a freelance role, from time to time there may be a shortage of tasks available due
to the nature of the work

One of the requirements of this role is that you are in-country.
If at any time you wish to move to another country to live/work or study then you will not be eligible to
continue working on the program
